A wonderful maritime museum, with a full replication of a whaling seaport town. The recreations are on the spot. A nice compliment to the Mystic Aquarium just up the road if you have the time and $.

The bookstore at Mystic Seaport specializes in maritime books of all kinds and is one of the finest on the East Coast. It is located on the second floor of the larger Mystic Seaport store, which has gifts, clothing, home decor items, and a bake shop and cafe.
