The beauty of Abraham Lake draws visitors in every season. Skate over the bubble phenomenon in winter or paddle across turquoise waters in summer months. The lake makes a perfect day trip or picnic spot being a 30 minute drive from the cabin.

Only an hour away and so much to do. Many hikes and places to explore. Beautiful ice blue lake and those amazing ice bubbles in the winter. Ask your host for more details.

Gorgeous man made lake in the Rocky Mountains. Stunning scenery and much quieter than Banff or Jasper National Park. There are plenty of great hikes in all seasons. People mainly like to visit this lake in the winter due to the unique methane ice bubbles that form and are locked away in the lake's clear ice. It is just over a 3 hour drive. If you do check it out I would recommend taking the more scenic route through Sundre and Rocky Mountain House. If your trip is taking you to Jasper this is a good route option as it connects onto the Icefield parkway.
