Local, historic public pool run by Portland Parks and Recreation. Open swim a couple of times a day and lap swim most other hours (although swim lessons and lap swim are often at the same times). They utilize a lot of lifeguards and the pool slopes to the deck so it is great for families with little children. We spend a lot of time there during the summer.
