Quality out of a concierge cubicle: this minuscule cafe is housed IN the entrance to a Hinterhof. It is very well worth the risk of getting run over by the delivery vans shuttling though - get you caffeine to go before you set on to play a bit of boules a little farther down Paul-Lincke-Ufer and end up shoe gazing at Pavillion am Ufer.

There are so many good coffee places in Berlin that I won't stay here and list them all. You can find the staples on the internet (Five Elephant, Bonanza, Barn, etc.). This one is different. Outstanding coffee placed in a small to-go yard gate. Very characteristic.

Benjamin is a lovely guy and makes the best coffee, also tiniest cafe in town
