Even if you don't want fresh produce, it's well worth visiting the Turkish Market on Tuesdays or Fridays. Crowded and full of Middle Eastern spices, nuts, fresh produce, meats, fish, and other food. On the canal, so make sure to take a walk before or after you hit the market.
