Interesting local museum on the history of East Village and Lower East Side activism, squats and community gardens.
A local grassroots activism museum. With exhibitions spanning the squatter movement to Occupy Wall St they conduct tours of local gardens and squatter buildings.

The museum itself showcases New York’s recent history of protests, grassroots movements, and environmental activism.
