The 250m world-class velodrome is part of the Rock Hill Outdoor Center at Riverwalk. The facility, owned and operated by the City of Rock Hill, has hosted national and regional caliber races along with several special events and outreach programs. At the velodrome, cyclists can find their home base for training and development. This year-round facility offers programs for cyclists of all stages and ages, providing equipment and instruction. A certification process is required of all cyclists, regardless of cycling ability, before riding on the track. The velodrome also serves as a gathering place for a variety of non cycling activities and special events.

Outdoor velodrome with races each Friday evening. Generally no fee, and there are usually folks training on the steeply banked bike racing oval, just like you see in the Olympics!
