This small reserve is located just a 5 minute walk from our accomodation. The track begins near Wandeen Street at Bilgola Plateau and finishes at Plam Grove Road, Avalon. The reserve is peaceful and beautiful. There are several rocky outcroppings where you can sit and enjoy nature. A gorgeous place to relax, meditate and enjoy the call of the various birds that frequent here.

If you're into bush walking, an easy trail through Newport, Bilgola and Avalon with amazing views. The Bilgola entrance on lower plateau road is about a 10-15 minute walk away

This is a beautiful walk that begins/ends on Hilltop Road. There are wooden steps just after 85 Hilltop Road. They lead up for a beautiful twenty five minute walk through a rainforest like setting and take you to palmgrove street (right near Avalon shops).

2 mins walk from the SwellHouse. The Angophora reserve provides a refuge for native fauna and flora and serves as a wildlife corridor. The reserve also contains a Aboriginal shelter site that holds both archaeological and cultural significance and is one of the most important of such sites in the Sydney region It is a bushland sanctuary of significant social, recreational and educational value to the Northern Beaches region

Incredible lush walking track, about one hour solid walking circle from SUNDANCE PAD This reserve was originally purchased by the Wildlife Preservation Society back in 1937. Lots of incredible mature trees and ferns, including an historically significant Angophora red gum (now dead – but still standing) You can’t miss it – its around 2m in width and just on the side of the trail. The main entry is through a carved stone archway at 58 Palmgrove Rd, the track splits at the top and you can connect up with Chisholm Ave and Hilltop Rd - just behind Hudson Pde
