Checkpoint Charlie

Acerca de este lugar
One best known border-crossing of Cold War days. The spot remains a must see sight, even accounting for the fact that there is little left to recall the atmosphere of pre-1989 days. The site functioned from 1961-90 as the main entry/departing point for diplomats, journalists and non-German visitors.

On of the most famous spots in town with loads of history as well. I recommend: start your tour here and take a long walk down the street until you reach the train station: Friedrichstraße. From there go left or right along the water.
