Probably the best playground in DC for kids of all ages from little ones to teens, with a infamous fast slide, huge zipline, full basketball court and much more.

Hands down the best playground in the city. The Beauvoir School's playground belongs to the school but is open to the public when school or camp are not in session. Among other things it includes a zip line, great slides, climbing areas, fields, and tree-houses. Take a picnic and make a day out of it. The school is one of the National Cathedral schools, so you can also check out the Cathedral while you're there. Admission is free. It can get crowded on weekends.
