The vista there is like being on the top of the city.

Hiking options or enjoy a whole panoramic view of Omaha in another state; Iowa. You’d get the chance to go to 2 states in 1, What a deal! Most parking is free here, bring cash just in case you want to park at the paid parking lot.

This site, north of Big Lake Park, was dedicated in 1936 to honor the expedition of Lewis and Clark in 1804 and their historic meeting with Otoe and Missouri Indians. Renovations were completed in mid-2002, and the bicentennial celebration will lead into 2004.
