Pantai Pasir Tengkorak aka Sandy Skull Beach is some 40 minutes drive away from BigTree. One of our favorite picnic spot for the whole family. Be there few hours before the high tide and usher in the crystal clear warm water at the beach

Expect a picturesque and serene ambience ; a must-go place for local for picnic during the weekends. However it's abit far from everything, so we recommend you to rent a car or scooter as the internet connection at this beach is a little bit tricky.

Literally translated to Skull Sand Beach or Sandy Skull Beach, its rather ominous name is based on several local legends that have been passed down through the years. Some claim that it was named after bodies of unfortunate sailors were found washed up on the beach after a massive storm while others believe them to be the victims of a sea monster.

pantai pasir tengkorak or skull beach have own special view where you can see Ko Tarutao island , Thailand less then 5 kilometer. have they own history why local call them skull beach , go and visit then you will know . best place to go when sun is up where you swim crystal blue ocean
