South Malang is indeed quite popular with a series of beautiful beaches. It is undeniable that most of the beaches around South Malang are quite large and not infrequently violent. Even so, there are several beaches that are safe from big waves, one of which is Mrutu beach. Mrutu Beach is a beach located in Sumberoto village, Donomulyo sub-district, Malang district. The naming 'Mrutu' is used because there is a beach area inhabited by many mrutu animals. Called the Javanese with the term lemut, mrutu is a small animal like a mosquito. Mrutu Beach has an area that is not too wide. The length of the beach is no more than 200 meters. Even so, the charm of Mrutu beach is not inferior to other beaches. Its uniqueness lies in its calm waves. The sound of the roar of the waves is very smooth because the waves on the Mrutu beach run slowly. Not only calm waves, Mrutu beach is also beautiful with a stretch of fine white sand. The beach is surrounded by towering trees, making the beach look shady. Very fitting to enjoy a holiday with family, relatives or friends.
