Amazing views of the Presidio and Alcatraz. Hike in the opposite direction to see Andy Goldsworthy's 100ft tall Spire sculpture made from 37 Monterey cypress trunks from trees felled at the site and meticulously fastened together.

In the Presidio, gorgeous view of the Bay and Alcatraz. Start here for a short 1 mike loop hike through redwood forest, native prairie meadow (Ecology Trail), down to a stream and historic homestead (El Polin spring). Ask me for details!
