Paradiso Noord: The concert hall in the Tolhuistuin in the north of Amsterdam has a capacity of 550. The free ferry from Centraal Station takes only a couple of minutes to get across and continues through the night. Located at IJpromenade 2. www.tolhuistuin.nl

This restaurant, in the former canteen of Shell, is a restaurant and creative spot in one. Music venue Paradiso hosts music nights here, and they have a huge spoken word line up every month. Hop in for lunch or dinner - from a nice poké bowl to little shared dishes.
