Hit this spot if you want a casual hike. It has some elevation, but fairly easy and ends at the shore of the Hudson River.

A Scenic Hudson Park. One of my favorites. Go here in high season to avoid crowds. Go early, as parking is limited. If parking is full, head to Esopus Meadows Or Shaupaneak, both nearby.

A couple mile family friendly hike with a steep up hill loop. The kids will enjoy the suspension bridge and rich wildlife.
