Take a stroll through nature in Glenbower woods, just outside the close by village of Killeagh. Plenty of well make paths take you through the forest. Plenty of parking also available. Playground also on the road into the woods.

A beautiful woodland with many native species that was once the estate of the De Capel Booke family. In the 1830s they opened the wood to show off improvements to the estate on the first Sunday in May, which has become the festival day for Killeagh ever since.
