The Adventure Begins at Mountain Mile Mountain Mile & Tower Shops is one of the most dynamic new developments to open in Pigeon Forge with a 180,000-square-foot multi-purpose retail, dining and family entertainment complex that spans 174 acres. The Mountain Monster The Mountain Monster, centered at the Tower Shops on the Mountain Mile, features three exciting thrill rides from a 200 ft tower that overlooks Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains. Mountain Monster is an aerial ride that drops two passengers from a 175 foot platform, then swings them out over the complex at 65 miles per hour. Monster Fall offers a true freefall experience. Eight passengers ascend to the top of the 190 foot tower slowly, getting a birds-eye view of the surrounding mountain valley. At the top, riders are suspended for up to 12 seconds, then dropped without warning at speeds of up to 52 miles per hour, before slowing to a smooth stop. Monster Launch features an open seat design where passengers sit back-to-back and are ‘slung’ 140 feet directly up in the air. The Mountain Mile & Tower Shops is an upscale shopping and entertainment complex in Pigeon Forge, growing all the time with new attractions. The complex is situated just across the river from The Island, and is reached from Teaster Lane – this runs parallel to Parkway, and is a less crowded way to go north-south through the length of Pigeon Forge. You can also walk and bike to this end of town using the Riverwalk Greenway.

Brand new shops along the Mountain Mile. It is a really nice area with a nice atmosphere and easily accessible and avoids the heavy traffic of the Parkway.
