This shopping mall is located on what were the lands of a former paper factory called Loreto y Peña Pobre, which was built in the late 19th century. The paper factory shut down in the 20th century, and its main building eventually became a mall, called the Plaza Inbursa (formerly Plaza Cuicuilco), which is known for its various entertainment options such as restaurants and movie theaters.

Antigüamente fue la Fábrica de Papel Loreto y Peña Pobre, actualmente es un centro comercial y financiero. El terreno fue originariamente de Hernán Cortés. En esa zona se encuentra la Plaza Cuicuilco, El Parque Ecológico Loreto y Peña Pobre y el centro financiero Inbursa. Al interior se encuentra la Capilla de la Divina Providencia construida a finales del siglo XIX. / Formerly the Paper factory Loreto and Peña Pobre, is now a commercial and financial center. The land was owned by Hernán Cortés. In that area is the Plaza Cuicuilco, Loreto and Peña Pobre Ecological Park and the Inbursa financial center. Inside is the Chapel of Divine Providence built in the late 19th century.
