Wonderful inexpensive museum boasting a detailed history of the days when Cold Spring Harbor and Huntington reveled in the now extinct whaling industry. Cold Spring Harbor was the second largest whaling port in the United States after Sag Harbor, the place where the famous novel Moby Dick was set.
Perfect rainy day activity for the kids. A wonderful way to learn about Nantucket's whaling history.
