Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park is a 168-acre heavily wooded park in North Port Florida, north of Interstate 75.
Open dawn to dusk. Leashed dogs welcome. Call ahead for a primitive camping permit. Horseback riding and biking are allowed on the trail system, but the primary use appears to be for hiking. A canoe and kayak launch is available to explore the creek.
