Among North Beach’s many attractions is a small wetlands park located in a residential neighborhood where the water tower and public works building are located. If you enjoy bird watching or photography, you should add this to your North Beach itinerary. It’s worth spending a little time there, even when it’s not a prime time for bird migration. Just be sure to bring binoculars and a powerful zoom lens.

Amazing scenery just a few short blocks walk. We take our little kiddos here to go on a “hike” in the woods. Small trail to follow - our kids love it and lots of nature to look at and explore.

Wetlands Overlook Park, located at 4030 11th Street, is a small nature park that serves as an attraction for those interested in observing the wildlife inhabitants of the wetlands and the migratory fowl which rest there during the flights up and down the Atlantic Seaboard. The park includes a pier and two gazebos for visitors to sit and relax while viewing and photographing the wildlife and wetlands. Restrooms are available at the small, air conditioned Visitor Center. Wetlands Overlook Park is open year-round from dawn to dusk.
