The Hall Walk is a lovely local walk starting at Bodinnick and that takes you around Pont Pill, Polruan and Fowey that includes 2 boat rides.

4 mile circular walk. Take car ferry as foot passenger. Then come back on Polruan passenger ferry. Have a meal & drink in Polruan.

Start the Hall walk by catching the ferry from Bodinnick by travelling as foot passengers on the car ferry from Caffa Mill. This is a 4 mile walk which ends in the village of Polruan. A refreshing end to the walk is to have a drink at The Lugger pub adjacent to the river before catching the foot ferry back to Fowey. The walk has quite a few steep sections which meander through the woods and around the river tributaries. However, there are lots of benches. It is a good area to take a picnic and stop around half way at Pont Pill or along the top of the path where the views are spectacular.

Stunning walk from Polruan to Fowey which involves taking the ferry from Bodinnick to Fowey. Dolphins have been seen here recently. You can also get down to the beautiful wild creek and it’s shores dotted with oysters and wildlife.

Take a trip across the water on the Polruan Ferry (or the Boddinick Ferry depending on which way round you want to walk), and enjoy the glorious Hall Walk around the hills surrounding the Fowey Estuary. End your walk at the pub in Polruan or Boddinick before heading back across the water to Fowey.
