Ole! For a hearty, Tex-Mex "mexican" food place, this is it close to home. 1 mile through the back streets gets you to the open patio or air-conditioning inside. Good all the time, but lunch is much easier to get seated. There's a second location on I45 that's twice the size and just as good .

Good food and good prices. There's another, smaller location in Bacliff (4001 Highway 146). The League City location sometimes has live music. They also have an adult playground outside.

La Brisa is a casual Mexican restaurant with a large outdoor patio space that includes a bar, yard games, picnic tables, and music. It is a fun place to go with a group. La Brisa also offers brunch on Sundays.
