Pass Powderkeg is a hidden gem that we are a bit biased about! The community owned resort offers many things to do year round, including mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding and hiking. Biking: Buck 50 is a a must do. Pedal up from the base of the ski hill road and ride along a flowy single track run all the way back down. Great for intermediates and up. Hiking: The bike trails are multi-purpose. These are great beginner hiking trails to get your feet wet. Use the app "All-Trails" to find out more. Skiing/Snowboarding: Open in mid-November, PPK is a great spot to get your winter legs back and experience a throwback into what skiing used to be like. Much of the hill is lit so join us after a day at Castle!

Great beginner skiing in the Crowsnest Pass. About a 90 minute drive.

This is a great family ski facility with stunning Alberta views and usually moderate temperature skiing.

Literally just down the block! A great little ski hill, perfect for a day on the slopes followed by a beer on the deck.
