Peet's started in Berkeley! This is the FIRST Peet's store and has a very small museum inside the coffee shop.

Our favorite coffee place in Berkeley. Founded in the sixties by Alfred Peet who introduced darker roasted arabica coffee to US. Outstanding espresso and pastries.
