Crown Memorial State Beach is a state park in the city of Alameda, CA on the shores of San Francisco Bay. It is operated by East Bay Regional Parks District, under a cooperative agreement with the State of California and the City of Alameda.
Alameda Beach is located on shoreline drive, it is part of Robert Crown Memorial State Beach. It is a nice sandy beach that stretches along the shore. The water here is shallow and the water temperature is warm compared to the outer bay. The whole area has a relaxed vibe and the water near the shore is pretty relaxed, too, without much riptide. This area is favorite for wind surfer.
