Nice view at the top but a lovely drive up that starts from your accommodation and loops back down the mountain to town. Beautiful paddock and granite landscape.

The iconic Mount MacKenzie and the Doctor's Nose of Tenterfield are a must visit. Occasionally in the winter it has snowed on the peak and is just an amazing place to visit.
