Sueno's Stone (at Forres) is the tallest piece of early medieval sculpture in Scotland standing to a height of about 7 metres. this huge sandstone pillar is thought to have been carved around the mid 9th century - early 10th century.

There are 4 stones in the town of Rhynie, with ancient carvings on them. Possibly 1,500 years old (?) Nobody really knows what they mean, there's an animal with a head like a greyhound and wee flippers like a seal. Also circles and lines etc
