This sweet little lighthouse was built in 1836. It's located within a little park, has a pier, kayak launch and a museum store. Admission includes the Potomac River Maritime Exhibit, Keepers Quarters and the Lighthouse. It is only ten (10) minutes away from Pine Needle Nest and has a nice scenic view down "Lighthouse Road."

The best place to spend a day learning the area light house. It is very good for the kids and family.
