Lovely place to stay at & the location was great to explore Knysna.

Beautiful home with great ammenities. We loved staying there. It was so peaceful with lots to do around us. If we didn't want to go out we could braai and swim and ride bikes which was lovely. Would definitely reccommend staying there.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was peaceful and quiet with gorgeous views. Tendai was very responsive to all queries and always available. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and braaing. The lagoon is literally across the road, the kids loved exploring and finding items like rays, crabs, expired jellyfish etc. It was definitely a memory making holiday and would highly recommend this option.

Das Haus entspricht genau den Bildern – modern, stilvoll und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, und der Wohn-, Ess- und Küchenbereich im ersten Stock bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Heads und das angrenzende Vogelschutzgebiet. Besonders abends ist es faszinierend, das Naturschauspiel zu beobachten. Jaco war unglaublich freundlich, jederzeit erreichbar und eine große Hilfe. Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt – das Haus ist definitiv eine Empfehlung wert!

We had an incredible few days at the house in Knysna! It was so comfortable and inviting that we never wanted to leave. We enjoyed swimming, braaiing and relaxing while watching movies together. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, plus some lovely extras. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable .The owners Kate and Grant, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely love to return whenever possible. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Gantry House. The location was beautiful and convenient, the house was spotless, the amenities were excellent and Liddi was communicative and efficient. We’d love to stay again.

We have spent many holidays on Thesen Islands over the years, renting multiple homes on multiple islands. We have now found the perfect home for us. What you arrive to is so much better than any description or picture and exceeded all of our expectations without exception. It's a stunning North facing location with a wonderful view up the main canal. The home is very well appointed and most notably, for us and for my wife, spotlessley clean. Also very notably we were supplied with the small things that make a big difference and give you a sense of generosity by the hosts; toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, sponges, washing powder, hand soaps etc (you'll be shocked how many home stays don't supply the small things). We are so appreciative to Ilsebe for sharing her lovely home with us. 2026 is already booked. Can't wait! The Farrells

What a wonderful tranquil place to stay! We enjoyed the breakfast and meals in the conservatory overlooking the beautiful surroundings. Accomodation was clean and very roomy. We had we all had a wonderful stay there and were so sad to be leaving it. Thank you and we felt very safe throughout our stay

We were welcomed by Karin and Rodd as we arrived. Seaview 247 was more than we could have imagined. Situated in a very quiet neighbourhood with the sound of the sea in the distance . Highly recommend it

We had a double booking as mom's booked with each other for the Knysna Western Cape Netball Festival, however Lynn and Clyde were very understanding and give us time to figure things out. We checked and out easily and Lynn and Clyde even go as far as selecting some hand selected beverages and eats that can was a pleasant surprise and showed us a warm welcome to Knysna. I will definitely book with Lynn and Clyde again next time in Knysna. The B&B was value for money in a safe location just 2-3 minutes outside of Knysna town. Away from the hussle and bussle. Thank you Lynn and Clyde.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in the apartment. Easy and safe to walk to the lovely bars and restaurants on the quay. The apartment had everything we needed and was in a quiet area and very clean. Was able to park the car in secure garage and would be very happy to stay here again.

We had a fantastic time and enjoyed our stay. Very clean and well organised flat with everything you need. The beds are comfortable. Great view over the lagoon!

Brilliant value for money! Beautiful apartment with a central location and everything you need for a short or a longer stay. Carla's communication was excellent, and self-checkin was easy with clear instructions. We only stayed one night which was a shame becauce Carla's place would be the perfect base from which to explore Knysna and surroundings. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit

Our stay with Douglas at Knysna was absolutely delightful. The location is superb, within easy walking distance of the Knysna waterfront and all its attractions. The room itself was immaculate, spotlessly clean, and beautifully presented. It was clear that a great deal of care had been taken to ensure guest comfort. The accommodation also boasted a full array of self-catering features, including a washing machine, dishwasher, and tumble dryer, making our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. Overall: We highly recommend Douglas at Knysna to anyone seeking a comfortable, stylish, and well-located place to stay in this beautiful town. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Sandra and Renee were the most helpful and gracious hosts. The place is beautiful and very clean. I love the extra touches like electric blankets and heated towel rack. They made the stay that much more enjoyable especially because we were there on rainy days. Would definitely come visit again ✨

A huge thank you to Peter and Chery! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The highlight for me was the stunning view from the balcony — both in the morning and at sunset, it was absolutely breathtaking. The place is spotless, fully equipped, and thoughtfully maintained. Nothing was missing in the kitchen or bathroom. I truly enjoyed every moment, and if I come back, I’d love to stay here again without a doubt!

We had a lovely weekend getaway in Knysna! Our stay at Cherise’s place was amazing! The place is wonderful, neat, very well-equipped and those views from the balcony- what a blessing! Wifi and Netflix are additional benefits. Our fur babies enjoyed the garden area which is fully fenced and offers peace of mind. I loved the bird chirping and beautiful trees :) Just a short drive to town, restaurants and shops which adds to the overall experience. We wish we could stay longer. Thank you both!

We Stayed at Andrei’s place, the location and the apartment itself were amazing, perhaps even better than the pictures. The only downside I would say is the bedroom on top of the coffeeshop as it gets quite noisy from 6-7 in the morning. Other than that, definitely recommend it and will visit back again.

Wir hatten eine angenehme Zeit in dieser Wohnung. Alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir hatten einen guten Aufenthalt.

Wonderful place to stay. The apartment was big, it was very well equipped with all that you can think of. We loves every moment we lived there, and regretted that we should have lived there for couple of more days. Location and views of the apartment are also good.
