Anu's Barn was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. Its private location was ideal for a relaxing get-away and we enjoyed the hot tub in the garden, even when it was raining. We had our two medium-sized dogs with us and they had a lovely time walking in Pepper Wood and in the field at the back of the property which they could access themselves from the garden. Anu was very responsive. She and her husband attended to a few of our requests extremely promptly. We would also highly recommend The Gate (Tex Mex pub) which is withing walking distance for great, reasonably priced food. We would definitely consider staying again if we come back to the area.

Had a short stay at Barley Croft lodge. Ray was great he rang to check if everything was ok with our lodge and was very polite and helpful. The lodge is in lovely surroundings with lots to do locally. It was ideal for our 1 year old daughter who could wander on the veranda safely and look at the two donkeys in the adjacent field. The lodge has everything you need and is close by the villages of Melbourne and Breedon have places to visit. An all around great experience. Thank you Ray.

A very pleasant stay for a few nights, but could have certainly stayed longer. A very private and peaceful place to stay as a base for exploring the area. Very friendly host and comfortable accommodation. Thanks for a great visit.

What a great stay- myself and my bachelorette group stayed here for the weekend and it was beautiful. Very close to local shops and food. Easy to get an uber to the bars. And the host left the most beautiful flowers for our arrival. Very happy with our stay here.

Thank you, Natalie and Nick for letting us stay in your very cosy shepherds hut. It’s absolutely beautiful; the decor, the peaceful view and the overall location is wonderful. Amazing getaway from our busy life in the city. The hut was fully stocked and the little touches haven’t gone unnoticed. The fire was so lovely as it was still cold and rained a little whilst we stayed, didn’t ruin our holiday whatsoever, gave it a really nice vibe and it didn’t smell. Natalie has been super helpful from the very beginning from us booking till the end, she was able to answer enquiries quickly and gave us brilliant recommendations. Ally & Simon are incredibly great & helpful hosts. Their accommodation is absolutely spot on, clean & modern. Beautiful garden and the whole house. Definitely recommend staying there, very close to the town centre, great location. Parking spot in front of the house. We will be definitely coming back. Thank you for having us & the support on marathon. Definitely people that they care about their guests & their place.
