We are a family of 6 and we have had a great experience in Cozy Cabin in 2025 spring. We stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful country side cabin. The space was tastefully decorated and there were lots of thoughtful amenities prepared by the host. The host Sarah was very friendly and responsive. Would love to recommend to anyone who wants to take a break from the buzzling city life from Toronto for a few days of simple escape. We have completely enjoyed the stay. All in all it deserves a solid 5 out of 5.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! The jacuzzi and sauna were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. The peaceful surroundings made it a great escape from the city. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

I would 100% stay here again. The apartment was fantastic, extremely clean and cozy! We didn't have many concerns or requirements during our stay, so we didn't have much interaction with Marsha outside of our check in and check out instructions. Check in was super easy and directions were clear. Check out was also extremely simple and had extremely basic requests for checking out. If you are looking to stay in the area, I would for sure recommend staying with Marsha.

This cottage was great! We appreciated the super well-equipped kitchen, as well as all of the items available for kids. It was a relaxing week with great views of the lake from the cottage, hot tub, and fire pit. Very thankful they were able to accommodate us on short notice and will happily try and come back again!

My family had the perfect weekend getaway at the Hemlock Hideway Waterfront. The cottage is beautiful and is very nicely decorated. It is equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed our meals together in the dining room, sitting in the sun on the private sandy beach, hanging out in the large family room and relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings. The water view from almost every room is breathtaking. Christine is a wonderful host responding quickly to any questions I had. We made some great family memories and would love to return.

Victoria was an amazing host, she was more than accommodating. Her place was very well decorated, the beds were so comfy. The hot tub was great. I would recommend her place to anyone looking for peace and quiet and just an overall great place to stay and relax. We were there in the winter, it was so pretty though. We definitely would like to go back in the warmer weather too. 100% recommended.

We had a great stay at Stella’s place! Everything was as described. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location close to Bala and Gravenhurst. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Would stay here again!

Patricia was a helpful host, very friendly and accommodating. Her place was peaceful, had a beautiful lake view. It was cute, cozy with rustic vibes. It was clean, organized, and had everything we needed. Also, the location is close to Screaming Heads and different hiking trails perfect for seeing the autumn foliage.

We had an awesome stay (my husband and 5 year old). Janice made us feel like welcome guests in their space and takes great pride in their cottage. So many down to earth things to do & explore! The pictures do not capture the wonderful experience we had. Waking up to the sights and sounds lily pad pond and then hearing the frogs & crickets at night was a lovely experience. We would highly recommend this cottage stay. Great space & Great hosts! Thank you we would stay again!

Enjoyed our stay at Glenn Burney Lodge. Owner was very helpful and communicative, proximity to restaurant was great, privacy and seclusion of cabin made us comfortable on a first trip with our dog that he wasn’t going to annoy others if he barked a lot (which he didn’t…yay!). Overall, a very positive experience.

Exactly as pictured/described, everything you need. Lixin is very friendly and responsive. Helpful with any questions you may have. Kids loves the bunk beds and we had a blast. Looking into booking in the summer.

The cabin is in such a magical spot and it felt like such a privilege to have this place to ourselves. The cabin felt spacious and clean. We were grateful to find a dvd our kid wanted to watch for the night it rained, but otherwise made the most of being out in the landscape.

An absolutely stellar place to get away from it all. The lake, just steps from the door, was beautiful and the small mouth bass we caught, tasty! We took our two older pups and they give it two paws up. They highly recommend lounging on the back deck to watch the ducks and beavers go by. We definitely recommend getting out on the water, looking back at the cabin you get to see just how amazing it all is. While rustic, Paul & Tannis have created an inviting space worth visiting...again and again.

This cottage is chic, serene and was lovely to unplug for a few days. It looks exactly as described. It’s tastefully decorated and thoughtfully laid out with a shuffle board, games, art essentials, a well-stocked pantry, plush bath robes. The wood stove inside and sauna outside was a bonus and great touch. The cabin is set amidst 100 acres of private land, we went on hikes, our dog loved it. It’s a short drive to Bracebridge town. We drove to High Falls in Muskoka which was beautiful. Taylor was super responsive. Can’t wait to come back.

Nrupas cottage was more than what we expected! The location was perfect, the cottage is more like a house, the layout was perfect for gathering friends and family. The deck is huge and plenty of seating. There’s a fire pit with lots of seating. The bunkie is great for more privacy. There’s canoes, kayaks and a paddle boat…the lake is gorgeous. The neighbours are friendly. Comfy beds, We will be back!

Had a fantastic weekend at Ron's cottage, plenty of space for a small group and the cottage is stocked with things to do. Ron was always very responsive and even helped us out when we ran into a bit of car trouble on our last day, by sending us over to his son Jake who is the local mechanic in town - we were back on the road quickly thanks to them. Highly reccommend this place, thanks Ron!

We really enjoyed a weekend getaway, hard to beat sitting by the campfire watching the stars. The place was exactly as described and is a little rustic getaway. We loved the location and how private it was with cute little cabin.

We loved our stay! The cabin was exactly as described – clean, modern, and well-equipped. Stephen was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Check-in was a breeze. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

What a gem. This is a beautifully rustic spot in the woods for a gentle getaway on the water. There’s a bit of a scramble up a hill from the brand new dock (with amazing swimming and lovely afternoon sun!) to a sweet little cabin - everything you need for a comfier-than-camping holiday. There’s all the kitchen basics you need, and the wood stove makes it super cozy. The lake is quiet and the neighbours friendly. It’s a great spot for a lazy day in the dock, or a more adventurous day trip into Massasauga provincial park. Geoff was very responsive when the power went out and offered to come up to fix it right away. But we preferred to spend our last night in the warm glow of candlelight and wood stove. Highly recommend.

Nicole was a fantastic host. Her place was super cozy and well supplied, has everything you could possibly need for a weekend stay. Highly recommend staying at boom-shack-a-la. 11/10.

We spent labor day weekend at the bunkie and absolutely loved it! It had everything we need with incredible views. The outdoor shower was lovely.

It is clear the owners have put a lot of care and thought to every aspect of a stay at their cottage. Outside, there were 3 canoes available with PFDs and paddles; the dock was perfect for fishing- we caught bass and sunfish, and catfish, plus we also swam too. Pool noodles and ample outdoor dock seating was also available. The outdoor seating and dining area was really wonderful and afforded a view of the river still but also surrounded by trees that sound so lovely in the wind. There are neighbors on either side but everyone keeps to their own and feels very private. The barbecue worked great and it was so thoughtful how there was a lighter and a spatula and tongs clean and provided for easy access. The place was stacked with things you may have forgotten at home like a post-swim q-tip or herbal tea. The forest across the street is uninhabited and was great for mushroom foraging. I would 100% recommend this place as it had exceeded our expectations at every turn.
