Reserve a romantic cabin for two and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our jacuzzi tub and shower are big enough for two, and don't forget to visit our hot tub with its own gazebo. We also have a hanging day bed on the front porch; it's perfect for snuggling with your favorite person. There's a full kitchenette available, or you can visit fantastic restaurants that are just minutes away. We're located right between Glen Rose and Granbury, and there's plenty to do nearby.

Chertecho Tree Tower

Designed to connect with the natural systems of a special place, Chertecho sits among the trees on a 5-acre rocky slope overlooking the Pedernales River Valley. An outdoor stair system connects the three levels - a covered rooftop deck; a second-floor master suite; and a ground floor kitchen space. Glass walls open to the wooded slopes of Big Hill, a ridge separating the Pedernales and Guadalupe watersheds halfway between Comfort and Fredericksburg. A place to unplug, and reconnect.

True Texas experience in the barn at a small ranch. See one of the biggest steers in the world at 13.5 long.. Stay in a luxurious loft in the barn constructed with whitewashed shiplap and rustic timbers. Big oversized windows and view the stables and pasture. The shower, which has exposed copper plumbing, is sure to impress. Outside there is a small patio with adirondack chairs that over looks the horse pasture and our beautiful Panhandle sunsets.
