Collon is a small village in County Louth situated 60km (45 min) from Dublin city centre & 35 min from the airport. 25 minutes to Emerald Park. The cottage is carefully furnished to provide all the comforts you would hope for in this quiet retreat and not suitable for partying.

Please note, there is no oven in the lodge, an electric hob is available. Bedrooms are located upstair, bathroom downstairs.

Our beautiful self-catering guest house is on the grounds of our own home. Located at the foot of the historic Hill of Slane, overlooking Littlewood Forest and the rambling Boyne Valley, on 3 acres of countryside land. The bungalow is self-contained and situated in a private corner of the grounds, next to our own home. Quiet rural area suited to a couple or small family. Children are always welcome but most suited to families as a base as there are no play areas etc. for them here.

For international travellers the properties are approximately 30 mins from Dublin and 90 mins from Belfast Airports. The Coach House at Sandpit can boast a wealth of local amenities including neighbouring beaches, links golf courses, and many historic attractions in the nearby Boyne Valley.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The cottage is situated on a quiet road, 1km from a blue flag beach. The picturesque village of Clogherhead is 3.3km away and has restaurants, takeaways, pubs and a beach cafe. Louth is the Land of Legends and has a rich history with plenty to see and do. There are a wide variety of outdoor activities including golf, walking and water activities. The M1 motorway is a 14min drive with Dublin and Belfast an hour in either direction.

Tayto park, Fantasia Theme park, Slane Castle, the battle of the Boyne and the seaside village of Bkavkrock are a short drive away, the cottage is perfect for anyone wishing to explore the north east of Ireland .
