El Tejar is a very beautiful and original oasis, a short walk from the village of Zufre. It sits in glorious countryside, with unspoilt, breathtaking views. The house itself is impressive, with plenty of grown up space, and full of interesting artefacts. Above all, it also had a well-loved family feel to it. The garden area and pool is beautifully planted and well-maintained, and there are several outdoor seating areas all of which we enjoyed. Maria was a wonderful host; she was always on hand to provide excellent advice and assistance and she went over and above to ensure we had a very special holiday. We were a party of 10, ranging from age 80 to 15 and every one of us had an amazing time. Aracena was a notable visit both for the grottos and the food [we had a glorious lunch at Puerta 20].

María Luisa was a great host. She guided us with directions to her place. It was really lovely seeing old house with excellent architectural details. Loved it. So well located 20 feet away from plaza. Great restaurants, especially Acebuche which was like 10 feet away. The restaurant owners were so personable, let us sample delicacies of the Extremadura area. Wine “la Raya” outstanding. Jesus and Veronica the proprietors, were jokingly teased by the locals about how attentive they were to us. Just two shmos which they treated like VIPs. Loved Maria’s place, loved Acebuche, loved Villanueva de Fresno.

Stayed at Inma’s place for a week. Beautiful gardens, well looked after and so private. The pool is clean and good size. House is very spacious and clean. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location is good as next town is less than 5minutes by car. Inma is a very friendly and helpful host. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for peace and quiet, enjoy the silence and privacy.

Lovely villa with everything you can think of provided. The pool is bigger than it looks in the photos and was very welcoming after the heat of the day. Neil was extremely helpful and very responsive when I asked him about local places. If I visit the area again, I will not hesitate to look this place up again.

A wonderful stay in the middle of calm pastures. El Buitron is a quick car ride away from Valverde where you can find a big supermarket and great selection of local restaurants. There are so many hiking trails around this area, easily accessible within a few minutes by car. The space itself is very luminous and has everything you need. The lounge area is spacious and has a gorgeous view. Communication with the co-hosts was fast and easy.

un accueil chaleureux dans ce lieu magnifique, idéal pour se ressourcer, au calme... des balades à faire aux alentours, la piscine, un endroit privilégié et intime! un joli feu de cheminée à notre arrivée, très sympathique. une région magnifique, peu connue, à decouvrir!!! nous n'avons même eu envie d'aller à Cordoue, c'est dire!

Local sossegado, apartamento muito limpo, cama extremamente confortável. Staff muito simpático, atencioso e prestável. A repetir!

Espaço muito agradável, casas bem insonorizadas e sustentáveis. Paisagem incrivel. Anfitriões muito simpáticos e prestáveis. A repetir =)

Una comunidad pequeña de apartamentos con hotel/restaurante y piscina. Muy tranquilo y sin ruidos, con espacio de sobra para aparcar. Si tuviese que poner una pega es que las habitaciones tenían persianas venecianas y por lo tanto entraba algo de claridad por las mañanas, por el resto todo perfecto.
