Al and Claudine were friendly, approachable, and professional right from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend Commanda Lake Resort to anyone looking to get away from it all.

Cecilia and Mabel were wonderful hosts. The property is as described and has a lot of activities. We wanted a few extra adult life jackets for kayaking and she helped arrange it the same day. A ton of board games, outdoor activities for all age groups. Loved our stay!

The place is great. About 20-25 minutes from New Liskeard, which has everything you need, including great restaurant, 28 on the Lake. The view from the cottage/veranda is beautiful. Cottage has its own boat ramp, which worked well for us. The hot tub was amazing, we really used it a lot. The sauna also worked well. Cottage was clean and everything worked. And, finally, Katrin was extremely fast with her responses and her answers were always helpful.

My partner and I really enjoyed our weekend at Etienne’s cottage. The island was so interesting to explore and we hiked many trails. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a cosy weekend! We didn’t realize when booking that the main house was only a few hundred feet from the cottage but we still had privacy. In the summer, if other people rented the second cottage and you were all outside I do think that privacy would go down. Otherwise, we loved all of it and would highly recommend!!

Jess and Mike’s place on Bear Island is the perfect place for a family get-away! We had a lovely week by the water and spent our days canoeing, paddle boarding, doing yoga on the dock, and hiking the nearby old growth forest trails in Temagami! On the rainy days we curled up and watched a movie in comfort. The cottage was clean and cozy and it was a bonus to have clean sheets, towels and a full cupboard in case we forgot anything! Thanks so much, Jess and Mike for sharing your piece of paradise! We hope to be back next summer!

Was a great stay! We loved our little cabin, my fiancé and I we’re lookingfor something with old school cottage vibes and that’s exactly what we got here 😌 the property is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff are super friendly and helpful! Was great for us and our kids! Will definitely be back soon!

Had a wonderful weekend in beautiful Port Loring at Hilltop Cottage. It was our first time, and everything was just as pictured in the photos. Clean and very cozy place with lots to do and plenty of space for all of us. We enjoyed the huge deck, fire pit and short walk to the beach. Host was extremely responsive and helpful answering any questions we had. Would definitely visit again.

We celebrated our anniversary at Jen’s Shamayim Cabin to disconnect and enjoy some winter activities. With no cell reception, we used our devices only to capture photos and videos. Jen greeted us, gave a brief tour, and recommended activities. It was the perfect winter getaway, with plenty of snow for outdoor activities. The weather was great. We cooked dinner on a campfire, relaxed in the sauna, and ended the evening by the fire with hot chocolate. The next day, we tackled two trails. One involved snowshoeing and trekking up Little Mountain to a scenic lookout. After taking in the views, we made our way down a steep slope, using ropes to assist with the descent. We also crossed a creek along the way before completing the loop. Later, we visited the frozen Bang’s Bay and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The area is huge, with more trails and activities we didn’t have time to explore. Jen and Tzach were wonderful hosts, and we highly recommend their cabins. We’ll definitely be back!

Their place is astonishing, with a beautiful view. It’s peaceful, cozy, and incredibly nice. The inside of the unit was okay, but I think it was worth the money.

It was a great place to stay very friendly host and beautiful spot to stay I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice place with good people around there is lots to do go fishing have fires go out on the lake best place I’ve been to yet

I have stayed at some nice Airbnb over the years, but this one tops them all. Rosemary‘s Cottage is truly special location, wise and the Cottage itself. Rosemary and Mike could not have been more accommodating hosts. We felt right at home and cared for. I am really hoping to come back for another stay. Do yourself a favor. If you want a relaxing getaway in the most beautiful setting with great fishing and about to explore with, book Rosemary‘s cottage. I can’t thank Mike and Rosemary enough for providing an incredible experience!!

Reasonable price for the stay. Right on the lake which was amazing. The host was very nice. On the downside, the cottages were close together which we were not aware of, you essentially do not have your own yard space. Other than that our stay was great!

Beautiful cabin with great views, freshly renovated right on the water! Perfect for snowmobiling with access to lake nipissing right at your front door! This clean and cozy cabin has 3 bedrooms with really comfortable beds so you feel right at home and it's pet friendly! My new favorite spot for my yearly ice fishing/ snowmobile trip. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was great with all amenities within a few kms. Highly recommend this cabin!

Nous sommes restés plus de 5 semaines dans ce très beau chalet! Un endroit magnifique avec sa grande terrasse qui donne sur le lac Témiscamingue! Ce chalet offre deux grands lits confortables, des salles de bains modernes et toutes équipées avec laveuse-sécheuse, un poêle à bois, tv. et une cuisinette fonctionnelle avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin! La propreté est impeccable et un gros merci à Béatrice pour son excellent travail, ses bons services et sa grande gentillesse! La communication avec Loïc fut rapide et courtoise!
