We had a fantastic stay here for a couple of nights. The setting was beautiful and Michele was kind enough to let us explore the stunning garden and enjoy some of her home grown veg. The welcome couldnt have been warmer. The accommodation was clean and cosy and was perfect for us and our two small children. A perfect alternative to staying in Tekapo. We would loved to have stayed longer. Would strongly recommend this place to others.

The lookout lodge was by far one of the best places I've ever stayed! The lodge was perfect for our girls weekend, spacious, clean with everything you need. The garden are and lookout/views are incredible. Nancy was a great host and communicated everything perfectly. We all cant wait to book again with our family!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Hosts are delightful, very helpful and full of local knowledge. Cottage was exactly what we expected of a farm stay. Breakfast items provided, including eggs from the farm. Place was clean and tidy and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped. All in all a great stay and highly recommended.

Our stay was lovely and peaceful. Everything we needed was provided. Janette was an attentive host and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others or to stay again (hopefully in 2027 😁)

Loved staying at Meg’s place! It was a peaceful getaway. Loved seeing the horses and foals. Also enjoyed the very friendly dog and cat. The cat gets chatty when they see you and greets you when walking out to your car or coming back to the property. Facilities were great! Highly recommend and would stay again.

To say this cottage is cosy is an understatement. We had such a lovely peaceful time for two nights with a drive to lake Coleridge and Methven hot pools on each day. Will definitely be back.

This is the biggest Airbnb we’ve stayed in! Very peaceful, lovely hosts, very knowledgeable. We enjoyed feeding Laura the pig and playing with the dogs. Good sized kitchen! Cute little private room, host was super friendly and gave us lots of recommendations. Place was very tidy and had all the amenities needed. Views from window were gorgeous - host said snow lands around deck during winter 🫶

The house is absolutely stunning, with original character beautifully preserved. From the creaky wooden floors to the vintage details in every room, it felt like a warm hug from the past. It’s the kind of place where you just want to curl up with a book by the window or sit outside with a cup of coffee and take in the peaceful surroundings. It was incredibly cozy, and you can tell the owners have poured love into maintaining its old soul while making it feel like home. If you’re looking for a unique, soul-soothing escape with serious old-house movie vibes, this is it. I didn’t want to leave!

Sally and Bruce's place was absolutely wonderful! A great place to call home during our road trip (especially after a very long day of hiking in Abel Tasman). Not to mention, the bed was very comfortable! We had the best time.

Fantastic place to stay - incredibly clean and comfortable, and amazing view to boot. Carmel and Danny were great hosts. Really friendly and welcoming, even taking the time to walk us around the fruit trees and meet the animals. One of our best stays. Would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again!

Carlees’s place was absolutely fantastic. She knew we were traveling with our 8yo daughter and invited her to feed the sheep with them. It was a fantastic experience. Her home was warm and inviting, and everything from the fresh bread and honey to the amazing views was perfect. They even recommended a local Indian takeaway that was very good. I would definitely stay here again when we return to NZ.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and relaxing place. The hot tub is amazing, and the personal touch of checking in to see if/when we wanted it lot every day was really kind. Whether it’s watching the stars by night or staring at the view by day, this is the perfect spot to do it from - comfortable and well-equipped.

Justine's place is a lovely, relaxing spot in a beautiful setting. It's a bit removed from restaurants and stores, so bring provisions. Justine is very helpful and responsive. After a day of hiking and sightseeing, it's a perfect place to relax in solitude, build a fire, and gaze out across the landscape

Beautiful and cosy farm stay. Away from other other houses so we could be in complete darkness at night and see the Milky Way! Charlotte was very quick with her responses and Chad was kind enough to show us the calves and the farm.

I highly recommend booking the hot tub and having a soak while the sunsets

Clever design of a compact space with beautiful mountain views. A very relaxing retreat in rural surroundings and yet very convenient for Queenstown and Arrowtown attractions.

Our stay just outside Te Anau was pure bliss. Quiet, private, and surrounded by stunning views of rolling hills and distant mountains—it felt like our own peaceful retreat. The sunsets and sunrises were unforgettable, and we loved how secluded it felt while still being close to town. Perfect spot to relax and soak up the beauty of the countryside. Highly recommended

We had a fantastic time staying here. All the bedrooms were a great size and the open plan dining and lounge area was huge. The place was spotless and had a good range of kitchenware. The highlight for our daughters was Indy (super friendly dog) coming over to say hello and the sight of the merino sheep running across the field to get some snacks.

Tony went above and beyond for us. We arrived very late from cycling in and Tony had got some of the most delicious pies for us as the town had closed already. Very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely come back!
