This is one of the best hosts I’ve ever met. We encountered a tricky situation, and the host set off from Auckland at 1 AM to help us. This was my parents’ first trip to New Zealand, and the experience left them with a great impression and deep gratitude. I highly recommend this place—you’ll get an amazing house with convenient access to many attractions.

Had a great stay here for a few days. House was clean and well stocked. located within walking distance to local shops. Peaceful neighbourhood. Host was clear with instructions to get to and enter the property. I would stay here again.

Belinda was a responsive and conscientious host. Everything was well set up for our arrival, including plenty of firewood and a fire guard to keep the kids safe. The place was as described and ideal for our weekend away. She was also friendly and accomodating with our last minute queries and requests. Thank you Belinda!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb during our trip to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing! The location was perfect—so close to the starting point of the walk, which made our early morning start so much easier. The accommodation itself was spotless, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed to relax after a long day of hiking. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided helpful tips about the area, including recommendations for local dining and activities. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the comfortable bedding and the well-equipped kitchen. If you're planning to explore the Tongariro Alpine Crossing or the surrounding area, this place is a gem. We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our adventure.

Good double garage and a restful aspect next to a reserve which is a short walk to the lake. We would fully recommend this property and we would like to return. Karen is a great communicator. We had a lovely stay with two couples and a child. it was cosy and the kitchen had everything we needed. there were good heating appliances too and the photos matched the description well. it was good value and would happily recommend to others. thanks Deborah!

Lovely location overlooking Lake Taupo and into the sunset. Spacious deck to relax, eat and enjoy the view. Helpful responsive host. Very clean and well equipped living areas. Lovely Millennium Hotel restaurant right across the street. Great location for a relaxing break.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angela's place. Beautifully presented and ideal layout for 4 adults. The fireplace was fantastic after a very wet day at the racetrack. We walked up to Ploughmans for a casual pub dinner which we all enjoyed and was an easy stroll back down the hill. Would love to stay again.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Kuratau genossen. Die Lage der Unterkunft unmittelbar am Lake Taupo ist phantastisch. Wir konnten direkt vom Grundstück an das Seeufer und dort schwimmen. Das Hazs bietet alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Hervorzuheben ist ausserdem die unglaubliche Ruhe fern von technischen Geräuschen, nur Vögel, Wind und Wellen. Die Kommunikation mit Barb war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie war hilfsbereit und reagierte rasch auf unsere Anfragen. Schade, dass wir nach 6 Tagen abreisen mussten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
