What a beautiful spot! We loved being in such a peaceful location, just a short walk from being able to swim in the lake. Lovely's place had everything we need, including a nice outdoor area - perfect for storing bikes and drying swimming gear! Lovely was a dream to communicate with and went out of her way to make our stay great. We can't recommend staying here highly enough!

Ruru Lodge is a fabulous retreat in lush gardens, amazing views up the hill in Kinloch. We took over the whole family wing and found it extremely comfortable, warm and tastefully decorated. Our 'honeymoon' suite had its own bath and shower (in tub) and double sink with beautiful garden views, very comfortable bed and large space (my sister did yoga). We made the kost of the spa with a view to the bay in the distance. We woke up to the sound of native birds which was awesome! Renee is such a thoughtful and caring host - it's like going home to mum. Our breakfast was fresh and abundant: cereal, fruit yogurt, croisants or hot cross buns, juice, tea/coffee. On our last day Renee packed us delicious food for the road. We highly recommend Ruru Lodge and staying with its owners Renee and Ian

Peter's place is a rare find. Close to the hot spring, 30 min drive from Rotorua town centre. It is a working farm with horses, chicken etc. on site. It is such a special experience when you lift up your head in the room and see a horse staring at you through the window. We had great time there.

It is dog friendly and my dog definitely had fun time with Tess and Ria（if I remembered the name right）. Our stay was absolutely wonderful-clean, cozy, and full of charm. The farm setting made it a truly special experience. We were warmly greeted by a beautiful horse at the gate, and the sweetest puppy, Tess, always came to welcome us back after dinner. The hosts were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. It was a peaceful, heartwarming getaway-we would love to come back again!

What a super place to overnight on our journey. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, comfy bed, lovely linen and Charlotte even provided beds and blankets for our doggies. This was so thoughtful and there were further thoughtful touches and gestures. Fabulous shower too. The fully fenced enclosed garden was wonderful for the dogs and peace of mind for us. We were looking for a getaway from Auckland and decided on Taupo. Though Taupo itself can be very busy with tourism, staying at the Cottage was the perfect solution. Private, quiet, peaceful but only 10-15 min drive from all the attractions in Taupo. The Cottage is very well equipped and was in outstanding condition. Maura is a fantastic host; friendly, responsive and very helpful. We even enjoyed the animals at the farm, with Moose the Cat visiting us on a daily basis. A great AirBnb experience, would definitely book again.

Tammy was invaluable every step of the way. The house is warm, friendly, and super clean. The wood was ready in the fireplace, with a basket full next to it. The beds were excellent, and the kitchen was perfect. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Lesley’s place! The accommodation was extremely comfortable, clean, and cozy, and the surrounding scenery was absolutely beautiful — peaceful and perfect for relaxing. Lesley was such a kind and thoughtful host — she even helped me post back an item I had accidentally left behind (my toothbrushes!), which I truly appreciated. I would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Overall a nice place to stay. Cleanliness needs improved. Stains on bed comforter and cobwebs in a lot of areas. Ants inside home
