Seaside cottage

The seaside cottage is by the sea. The view is really nice as it looks at the sea all the way to the horizon. You can go for nice walks or swimming. Perhaps in the winter on a walk on the ice. Perfect spot if you have your fishing gear with you, or a canoe or SUP-board. The cottage works well for family, couples or just traveling alone. The place is also fine with small pets that do not shed. A sauna and reasonable amount of wood free of charge to warm up the sauna and smoker +fireplace outside.

A wonderful villa in the Nuuksio National Park

The beautiful scenery of the national park opens up in every direction from the windows of the house. Outdoor trails start right from the front door! Relax in the gentle steam of a traditional Finnish sauna, and soak in a hot tub under the starry sky (new clean water for every guest - also in winter). Children will enjoy the large yard with a playhouse, trampoline, swing and yard toys. The villa is located 39 kilometers from Helsinki Airport and 36 kilometers from the center of Helsinki.

A new log cabin with a beautiful view to a lake

A new, well-equipped log cabin built 2018 with a good access to the main roads and nearby cities. The cabin is located on a hill with a great view to a big lake. The cabin is surrounded by great berry forests, hiking trails and a lake rich in fish. In the cabin you have a wood burning sauna, a fireplace, a grill shelter, a hot tub and a boat. Winter time you can do cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing and snowshoe trekking.The nearest ski center is in Sappee (30km)

Rauhaa, hyvää oloa maaseudulla

Hirsitalossa on raikas ilma, saat hyvä yöunet. Hengähdyshetki kiireen, ihmispaljouden keskeltä. Sijainti on keskeinen: Helsinkiin 1 tunnin ajomatka, Hyvinkäälle 30 min., Hämeenlinnaan 40 min. Talon alkuperä on v. 1914. Huvilan henki on hiukan kuin omakotitalon ja mökin puolimaastossa. Persoonallinen hirsitalo on kuin Peppi Pitkätossun tarinasta, kaikki ei ole vielä lopullisesti maalissa - mutta ilmapiiri on tunnelmallinen. Kaunis vastaremontoitu mökki ja suuri rinnetontti puhtaan Storträsk-järven rannalla. Piha on rauhallinen ja luonnonkaunis paikka lomapäivän viettoon jossa naapuritkaan eivät ole näkö etäisyydellä. Terassilta voit ihailla järvimaisemaa tai metsän elämää. Sauna on aivan rannan tuntumassa, veneellä tai sub-laudalla voit lähteä soutelemaan tai kalastelemaan. Talvisinkin pääsee aina uimaan. Beautiful cottage by the sea

The cabin is 20km from Helsinki city center. The bus stop to Helsinki is 500m from the cabin. It is located next to the sea and has its own dock from where you can fish or take a dip into the sea. There is a sofa bed, a fireplace and a small kitchen, smart tv and wifi, a wood burning sauna and a loft with a double bed. Toaster, coffee brewer, Nespresso machine, a rowing boat and microwave is also available. The cottage is 27 sqm so it is best suited for one or two persons.

Countryside home near Nuuksio Forest

My place used to be an attic of a barn, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.

Cosy countryside cottage in the middle of nowhere. Cottage is located in same yard where the hosts home is. 15km to Riihimäki and 75km to Helsinki. Fully equipped kitchen with running water (both hot and cold water). Sauna in a separate building, built in 1930's. No shower there but traditional bucket shower works. Outdoor toilet. Four beds and one crib for baby. Good place for some hiking, biking and relaxing.
