Woderful five nights! The garden is amazing. The pool and the patio are perfect. Located in a peaceful and quiet area but still only a few minutes from the main road. We managed to see monkeys. toucans and parrots from the property. Only a few minute drive to Punta Una Beach. Perfect for the three of us (2 adults + infant). Great value!

This place was wonderful, rustic, secluded, in the midst of nature and next to a beautiful, peaceful beach, Playa Negra! There is a restaurant with delicious food only a few steps down the beach, gorgeous setting; a grocery store just a bit further, also the police station and bus stop. We walked or rode bicycles to and from town nearly every day. You can take the main road along the beach or walk on the beach. Either way is so lovely! We rode the bus to places like Manzanillo and Cahuita. One day, we rented an ATV and went to some nearby waterfalls. Absolutely incredible!!!! The house is fun and relaxing. Anything you may want or need, just ask. They're really nice. Lynch and Pamela are fast to respond and very informative. This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and Lynch made it easy and enjoyable. He also does tours. We took a sloth and kayak tour, which we loved! We can hardly wait to return!

We loved our stay in this rustic Costa Rican home! So thankful for the bug nets on the bed as there were quite a few mosquitoes. The home was beautiful and basic which is everything I wanted. The yard was stunning! Walking distance to the beach and grocery store. It was a very secure property so we always felt safe. There was a bit of street noise at night so I’d recommend ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper but other than that it was the perfect home away from home. The host was excellent with communication and quick to respond to any questions and concerns. I’d definitely recommend this property and will consider staying again next time I am in PV!

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft wie zu Hause gefühlt. Wir waren von Anfang an von der Umgebung und der Natur um das Haus herum beeindruckt und konnten viele tolle Tiere und Pflanzen entdecken. Ursula (Mutter von Justine) war super nett und hat uns viele tolle Tipps gegeben, wie wir den Aufenthalt in der Umgebung schöner gestalten können. Zudem war sie stets darauf bedacht, dass es uns gut geht und hat uns ein tolles Geschenk gemacht, in dem sie uns die Königin der Nacht gezeigt hat (eine Blume, die nur einmal im Jahr blüht). Wir haben es sehr genossen morgens auf der oberen Terrasse zu frühstücken und dabei den Tieren zu lauschen. Wir konnten hier sehr gut zur Ruhe kommen und können die Unterkunft von ganzem Herzen weiterempfehlen. Sollten wir noch einmal nach Costa Rica reisen, werden wir definitiv wieder kommen! Great spot. It's like a little town of apartments, so a good place to meet other travellers. It's about a 2 minute walk to the beach, and Cocles is probably the best place to be since it's the central part of the area.

Our experience with Kate and this Airbnb was phenomenal, to say the least. From the beginning Kate, who is an extraordinary human, was diligent in communication and making sure we were able to get acquainted in Puerto Viejo and her place. Never have had a more thoughtful host. The place itself is nestled deep within the rainforest of Puerto Viejo, not far from the road of the town of Cocles ( a cute beach town with many restaurants and walkable beaches). Peaceful rainforest sounds, multiple species of monkeys traversing through the property, exotic birds and other jungle animals set the backdrop for the Casita. The Casita itself had a great build quality with warm wood construction, warm lighting, a comfortable bed. Kept the windows open to air most of the time with almost no exposure to bugs - a pleasant surprise in a rainforest environment. Fan available if a front of humidity moves in. Ability to cook for yourself with a functional stove. Would recommend 10 times over!

Beautiful location in Cahuita. Was fun to see the wildlife in the yard. Bungalow was perfect with a nice patio. Shared kitchen was well equipped. Gracias - pura vida.

We had a great stay at Pequeno Paradisio. The house is so authentic and beautiful. We really enjoyed the patio outside. A great plus was the water filter in the kitchen, awesome to have free drinkable water. We had some bad luck with the neighbors doing really loud gardening works, but that was just a sad coincidence, i can imagine it’s not always like this. We spotted a large troupe of howler monkeys in the trees behind the house. The beach nearby is very beautiful and quiet. I can recommend this beautiful little paradise!

Estancia maravillosa cerca de Playa Negra a pocos minutos de Puerto Viejo. la cabina cuenta con una piscina espectacular, cocina equipada con lo necesario solamente hubiera agradecido un microondas para calentar con mayor facilidad. Lugar espacioso y muy seguro!! 10 de 10

Wir haben unsere Zeit in Tamara's Unterkunft sehr genossen. Es war alles super sauber und von sehr hoher Qualität. Daran hat man direkt gemerkt, dass Tamara deutsch ist. 100% Empfehlung!

This stay was an adventure for us! We will miss rocking gently to sleep in the comfy hanging bed, waking with the incredible sounds of birds and howler monkeys, watching agouti and chacalaca rove through the yard, and seeing aracari, oropendola and toucans in the trees around us. The kitchen was our favourite ever, with the folding shutters opened to the outdoors, gas stove and hanging out on the barstools, or the various other seating areas on the spacious covered deck. We enjoyed the original design of the cabin in beautiful materials and with many cute details. The beach is a short walk away, through a lush quiet residential road. The outdoor shower is a must for sand management 😄 The indoor shower is great, hot water and nice bathroom. Yes, you are living half outdoors (geckos and insects are part of the adventure) but in great style. We loved being here! Tip: the margaritas at the Reggae Bar down the road are wicked good!

Javier and Eva are wonderful hosts! Their place is a little slice of heaven in Cocles. Exactly as described. Very private & quiet; away from the business of town but a 15 min walk to places to eat/drink and the beach. I was able to walk and Uber around Cocles, Puerto Viejo, Cahuita, Punta Uva, and Manzanillo very easily. Loved sitting on the porch in the morning listening to the wildlife and enjoying the flowering plants. I saw so many hummingbirds, butterflies, lizards, and even an Aguoti. 100% recommend. Pura Vida!

This place was perfect for a single or couple. It's residential, but surrounded by jungle. A nice Long walk to beach.. The only complaint was no hot water for showers, but that is typical here, and the well water us not potable, so bring lots of bottled water.

The place is cute for sure, but Pablo himself is what makes this a great stay. He is super friendly and easy going. He goes above and beyond most hosts. The AC was very lovely to have and you can hear the ocean while sitting outside, since it's so close!

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach nur traumhaft. Die alte Bibliothek gibt einen magischen Vibe und die Lage ist einfach traumhaft. Direkt am Strand gelegen und mit den bereitgestellten Fahrrädern nur ein paar Minuten vom Nationalpark entfernt. Silvia war super nett und hilfsbereit. Mitten in der Nacht hat ein Faultier bei uns im Schlafzimmer vor dem Regen Schutz gesucht, und hat uns ein magisches Erlebnis beschert. Davon werden wir bestimmt bis ans Ende unseres Lebens erzählen! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und allen empfehlen hier zu übernachten, die einen ganz besonderen Ort suchen. Danke!

Wonderful house. The animals on the property are awesome. Meg was a helpful and friendly host. The place is as pictured and described. Fantastic place for jungle immersion, but be ready for all that entails (some bugs and noises). Cocles is a super lively and fun beach and worth a visit. It’s a better place to stay than directly in Puerto Viejo. The house is up a hill a little bit so transport of sorts is recommended.

Pasamos 4 noches increíbles en Casita Coco y la experiencia fue simplemente perfecta. Desde nuestra llegada, Mar, la anfitriona, nos hizo sentir como en casa con su amabilidad, calidez y atención a cada detalle. La casita es acogedora, limpia y está rodeada de un ambiente tranquilo que invita al descanso y la desconexión. Uno de los grandes pluses de Casita Coco es su ubicación privilegiada: está cerca de todo en Puerto Viejo. Restaurantes, playas, supermercados y demás puntos de interés están a pocos minutos caminando o en bici, lo que hace que moverse sea súper fácil y cómodo. Todo está pensado para que te sientas bien: desde la decoración con mucho encanto, hasta los espacios bien cuidados y equipados. Se nota el amor que Mar le pone a este lugar. Si estás buscando un sitio para relajarte, recargar energías y disfrutar de todo lo bonito que ofrece Puerto Viejo, Casita Coco es una excelente

This was our second stay at the casita is a beautiful place close to nice restaurants and super markets, but secluded in the middle of the jungle, we had breakfast watching humming birds and in the afternoons we were able to watched the monkeys and sloths.

My daughter and I loved our stay at Sirlen's place. It was perfect. Sirlen was quick to respond to any questions and she made sure we had everything we might need. The studio is only a short walk to the beach and town, but it is very private and peaceful. We felt very safe and secure. Loved being able to walk to the supermarket, shops and restaurants! We are looking forward to staying here again on our next visit.

Arriver là bas est un périple en soi mais très facile, il suffit de traverser une rivière, trouver l’embarcadère, prendre un bateau puis un bus ! En vrai tout est exactement bien expliqué à votre réservation et toutes les personnes que vous rencontrez sur la route sont adorables. Arrivé là bas vous serez dans un havre de paix dépaysant. Il n’y a pas d’activité à faire dans le coin donc soit vous emportez un bon bouquin soit comme nous vous demandez à partager du temps avec les hôtes. Ce couple fantastique est ouvert à toutes vos questions sur leur vie et leur culture. Nous aurions aimé poser milles autres questions mais notre espagnol n’était pas assez bon… c’est pas grave, les anecdotes racontées sont passionnantes quand elles sont aussi bien partagées ! Merci beaucoup ! On a adoré votre accueil.

I had a perfect stay in Puerto Viejo and in Ernyk his airbnb. He helped me with extra requests which was very nice. The house is very new and beautiful, a lot of green and animals around + only 5 min bikeride to shops and restaurants. Another plus is the eco friendly elements in the house. I would recommend this place 1000% and hope to return someday.

Nous avons vraiment aimé cette jolie petite maison très propre , qui est dans la jungle mais près de la plage. La propriétaire très sympathique et bon service.

Marleen’s place is a true jungle experience.. it’s a 10 min walk in a trail she made through the jungle until you get to her property. The deck is super simple, like the pictures. We stayed while it rained all night and it was magical. No electricity or hot water but it adds to the experience. Marleen is a super host and her property is a wonderful place.
