Original features include old doors, pine floors feature fireplaces, log burning stove, a dining area and a light filled kitchen. Homely and stylish. Bedroom one has standard uk size single bed, the master has a 5’Kingsize with feather duvets, and pillows, White Company sheets and countryside views. The bathroom on this floor has a shower over the bath.

Built on the historical site of Syningthwaite the cottages are named as such because of their close proximity to the Syningthwaite Priory. Each cottage is named after a Prioress that ruled the Priory during its life time. Alice's cottage is a spacious cottage which has its own private garden and BBQ. A hot tub can be added to the booking for £75 per stay.

The Gables is a 3 bedroom Edwardian villa in a quiet part of Tadcaster, ideally situated between York (9 miles) and Leeds (14 miles) and close to many popular wedding venues. Holidaymakers and workers are equally welcome. Parking is on the lane right outside. For those wanting to visit York, the Park and Ride at Askham Bar is 10 minutes away and a better option than parking in York. The Gables is not wheelchair friendly.
