Wat een heerlijke eerste nacht in IJsland. Dichtbij het vliegveld. Mooie en vooral gezellige bnb. ‘s avonds heerlijk uurtje in de hottube doorgebracht, wat een fijn plekje. Reynir is een aardige gastheer en overal is aan gedacht. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Hütte ist völlig ausreichend und mit allem ausgestattet was gebraucht wird. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten des golden circle sind gut zu erreichen. Absolute Empfehlung

Staying in Dora and Nicolas' cozy flat was everything we could have wished. They were friendly, welcoming, helpful and generous. The flat was clean, well-supplied and super comfortable. It was a perfect location for walking to the University for our conference (7 minutes) and into the City Centre (+/- 20 mins) for events, museums and dining. (Just up the street are KaffiVest, a wonderful little cafe/restaurant, a small supermarket, and the local outdoor, heated swimming pool - an Iceland tradition!) We wholeheartedly recommend, and would gladly stay there again!

Wir waren eine Woche bei Haukur in der Hütte und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Er war immer gut erreichbar und hat uns bei allem geholfen. Das Grundstück ist wunderschön und super um abzuschalten. Es ist sehr ruhig und friedlich. Es sah zu jeder Wetterlage traumhaft aus. Die Hütte ist gut ausgestattet. Man ist von Selfoss ca. 20 min mit dem Auto entfernt und dort gibt es alles was man braucht. Es hat uns sehr gefreut dich kennenzulernen, hoffentlich bis zum nächsten Mal!

Es waren unsere ersten drei Tage auf Island. Wir waren sehr unsicher - Flugverspätung, Mietauto, alles war für uns neu. Aber die Hütte haben wir nach Haralds Anweisungen problemlos sofort gefunden. Alles sah genauso wie auf den Fotos aus. Die Hütte ist klein, aber äußerst gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Küche ist sehr praktisch eingerichtet, mit allem was man braucht, es ist genug Besteck da, genug Gläser, Teller, Töpfe, ein Minibackofen... Die Matrazzen sind einfach ein Traum, weder zu hart noch zu weich, wir haben sehr but geschlafen. Und es ist auch sofort warm, wenn man die Heizung andreht. W-Lan hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Es war wie im Paradies. Und die Lage: besser gehts nicht. Ca. 30 Min zum Gullfoss und Geysir, und man ist auch sehr schnell bei Selfoss und im Süden. In der Nähe git es auch einige Thermalbäder. - Alles in allem war es ein perfekter Start in unseren Urlaub, es tut uns leid, dass wir so schnell abgereist sind. Danke.

This place was peaceful and accommodating out in the country. The Icelandic horses roamed around and I even got a peak of the Aurora overhead (though lighter skies in summer). The place had a steam sauna and very comfy beds. The kitchen was useful and the host greeted us and welcomed us to the place. Everything went amazing :)

We had a wonderful stay at Trausti and Bjorg’s place. They were so lovely and greeted us upon arrival. They gave us lots of recommendations and even accommodated a late check out for us. The place was really spacious, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. The location was wonderful, less than 10 minutes into Reykjavík and a really lovely area that felt safe and peaceful. I highly recommend staying here and we’ll be back the next time we come to Iceland!

Wir sind als dreiköpfige Familie gereist und haben uns in der einen Woche sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten, vor allem bequeme Betten. Das duschen ist ein Abenteuer, denn die richtige Temperatur einzustellen dauert ein bisschen, da das Wasser sehr schnell sehr heiß oder kalt wird, aber mit ein wenig Übung geht es. Für drei Leute gab es leider etwas wenig Stauraum für Kleidung und Gepäck, was aber an der Gesamtgröße der Unterkunft liegt. Nichts davon war für uns störend, wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft definitiv weiter! Besonders die Lage hat uns gut gefallen. Danke, dass wir eure Gäste sein durften!

Die Kommunikation vorab und während des Aufenthalts war sehr gut. Dank der ausführlichen Beschreibung haben wir die Unterkunft direkt gefunden und der Check-In verlief reibungslos. Die Lage ist top. Man ist schnell in Reykjavik und am Golden Circle, sodass man hier alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut besichtigen kann. Besonders die Islandpferde sind ein Highlight. Die Beschreibung entspricht der Unterkunft generell gut, auch wenn die Einrichtung teilweise schon etwas älter ist, was dem Ganzen aber keinen Abbruch tut.

Everything was perfect. The beds were comfortable and warm. Nice place to stay for northern light. You can get by foot to the lighthouse to get the best pictures of them.

Such a cosy, clean, welcoming, warm and lovely place to rest after a chilly day of sightseeing; the personal touches (a few plants, Icelandic tablecloth and painted stones) were so nice. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing dinner and breakfast using our store bought groceries. The beds were very comfortable. Nice lighting. And what lovely craftsmanship - this “tiny home” was simply perfect.

What an amazing place! Beautiful, secluded, and near so many sights. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

El guesthouse está en una eco-village apartada de la carretera principal, rodeada de árboles, donde nos sentimos como en casa. La habitación familiar era amplia y cómoda, e incluso tenía una pequeña cocina dentro, por si preferías cocinar allí en lugar de en la cocina principal. De todas formas la cocina principal es grande, estuvimos solos allí en nuestra única noche y pudimos cocinar sin problema. Sin duda cuando vuelva a Islandia será un lugar a tener en cuenta para volver a hospedarnos.

This accommodation is great, clean and in very good location. My view was amazing, i saw even the church from my window🤗 I am recommending this guesthouse.

Ein wirklich liebevoll eingerichtetes Hostel, man merkt, dass hier Herzblut drin steckt! Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist super, um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden.

Overall good experience. The house sits within a 10 minute walk of the main downtown area of Reykjavik. I had a rental car and street parking is free in the neighborhood which is a big plus for a larger city. No issues finding a parking spot nearby. Room was clean and private. Please note that the guest house has 3 bedrooms total so you will share a bathroom and kitchen with other guests. All doors have locks on them and a key so your personal belongings are safe. Newer washer and dryer is also available. There is also a small grocery store nearby if you'd rather cook than eat out. I was happy to have rent this.

Charmant appartement avec tout le nécessaire pour des vacances paisiblement installé, ou en vadrouille autour car proche de tout ce qu’il y a à voir ! À 10 minutes de Reykjavík centre et 30 minutes de l’aéroport principal, ainsi que du cercle d’Or ou du blue lagoon, je recommande vivement ce logement !

muy buen lugar para quedarse. es una gran casa y es administrada como una residencia. la atención es muy impersonal (no conocí a nadie que administrara la casa) pero aun así resultó todo perfecto

We ended up at Inga's after having to reconfigure our travel plans due to bad road conditions in North Iceland and were very happy with our decision to stay there. Everything matches the descriptions and pictures and Inga gave us very easy to follow directions in regard to finding the house and checking in.

This place was the perfect spot for our last leg of our trip exploring Iceland. 6 minutes away from Costco, 20 minutes from Reykjavik, and 35 minutes from the airport. We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place!!
