Our stay was wonderful! The home is beautiful and we enjoyed it so much! Bouwien was a great host with clear communication and always responsive. we would recommend this home to anyone visiting the beautiful town of Montagu.

Our stay at Fonteinskloof was amazing (cottage 4)! The location and cottage was private and cozy, exactly what we hoped for. Our host Michael was so friendly, helpful and extra caring. Went the extra mile throughout our stay and even brought us chocolate eggs on Easter morning! He also did an amazing antelope game drive with us which was worth every cent! Beauty of this property is an understatement. Well maintained and absolutely outstanding surroundings. We’ll definitely be back!

Jonathan and Rosie were excellent hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is new and spacious, even more so than shown on the listing. I loved the shower! It's a lovely open, uncluttered space with everything you need. We were able to take our two dogs and enjoyed walks nearby. The perfect getaway!

Had a lovely stay here with my family. The location is extremely scenic but also an easy walk to the main town of Swellendam for restaurants and supermarkets. The outside area of this home is fantastic- the stoep and pool area are amazing for warm days as well as one day it was raining here we sat out in perfect comfort watching the storm. Inside was incredible clean and spacious- the kitchen extremely well equipped for both braais and oven/stove cooking. Lynette was a fantastic host- proactive before our stay and responsive throughout!

A nice place to stay in a lovely town. We arrived in the rain, so walking wasn't a great option, but a short drive to restaurants. We struggled a bit with the directions to get in but Alida arrived within minutes to help us out. Wine was appreciated after a long days drive.

Amazing location, my brother caught his PB Cob while we were in Witsand which made the trip even more special. The kids loved it. Recommended for anyone who wants to experience unspoiled nature. Cannot wait to go again.

Rex was a friendly, kind host and their cottage is surrounded by mountains and bird life. We only stayed 1 night en route to Cape Town and ate out for dinner so didn’t use the facilities much but the plunge pool and patio must be very welcoming on hot days!

Special area, lovely local walks in the local area were a highlight. The house had all we needed to relax and enjoy a break in nature.

Breathtaking views, a spacious house with high ceilings and elegant wooden floors, exuding rustic charm. Beautifully maintained gardens and a sprawling porch with a fantastic braai area. A truly relaxing retreat with a helpful and accommodating host.

A Truly Magical Riverside Getaway We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful riverside property. The house is incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed, offering plenty of space and comfort. The atmosphere was peaceful and restorative, with the river right outside our door, perfect for swimming and paddling. After a stunning paddle, we enjoyed a relaxing braai while watching the breathtaking sunset. It’s the kind of place that makes you truly appreciate the present moment with friends and family, the kids had an absolute ball. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful, and well-thought-out spot to unwind, this is the place to be. Can’t wait to return!

I rented the guest room in Gila's beautiful home. I felt at home immediately and immersed myself in the surroundings, both inside the artistically decorated home as well the carefully cultivated, lush garden. Whether you rent the entire home or the guest room, your need of rest, peace and reflection will be fulfilled.

Lynette has a very special home and we were privileged to share it with her for a night. Swellendam will remain a highlight of our three weeks in the Cape

We had an amazing stay at Sudden Comfort. We were 3 families with children. It is spacious and there are enough rooms. The view is beautiful and it is walking distance from the beach. We will definitely visit again. Wilmilee and Darcia were great hosts.

Zylia has been very responsive and accommodation is top class. I appreciated the effort she took to accommodate and make provisions for us. Her place is clean and amenities are of a good standard. We got chocolates on our pillows and white crisp linen. The heated blanket was a win in the heart of winter. The fridge was stocked with lovely supplies and I'm happy to have stayed here. Well done on being an excellent host.

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus ist so schön wie auf den Fotos und der Ausblick von der Terrasse sehr idyllisch. Man sieht Berge, Kühe, Hühner. Wir waren einfach begeistert. Wir durften die Tiere füttern und das Bad im Pool auf der Terrasse war ebenfalls sehr angenehm. Bernadine war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden hier wieder übernachten.

Mary's place was absolutely charming! We has such a lovely time and was the perfect home away from home as a gateway to Barrydale and the Klein Karoo. Mary and her team were super super helpful and responsive and went above and beyond to make sure check in was smooth and that everything was easy. The house itself is gorgeous and everything you could want from a Karoo house. 10/10 recommend :)

If you are looking to get away from it all, have total silence except the wind and sound of birds and just unwind them this is the place. The house is rustic and has so many interesting bits and pieces, rich in history. The wifi works and the beds are super comfy. Splash pool was a blessing but the piece and tranquiliy, the amazing views, sunrises and sunsets. A beautiful place to find your soul. A truly wonderful experience.

Had a really nice stay, very peaceful and quiet. Will be returning in the future. Very rich history to explore.
