I had a fantastic stay in Williamsburg! The room was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and had all the comforts of home. The hosts were incredibly communicative and helpful, making the entire experience seamless. Their attention to detail and hospitality really stood out. I would absolutely love to return for another visit. Highly recommend!

I just want to express how thankful I am to have stayed at Pam’s cottage. My son and I felt right at home. We were also given the opportunity to invite a few family members out to visit with her beautiful horses, goats and chickens. My grandson really enjoyed it and so did the adults. Thank you Pam and Dan for such a wonderful experience!

Our experience and 3 night stay in Lightwood Forest was magical. It reminded us of previous stays in Ireland and Scotland combined with American history. The house is surrounded by fairies and if you aren’t a believer, you might be when you leave! The house is filled with antiquated treasures that resonate with the fairy forrest, providing an ambiance symbolic of “ time travel.” Hang your “clooties” (wish cloths) in the fairy tree and pay attention to the signs along the fairy path. Perhaps you can pick up on the messages left just for you. :) The furnishings were gorgeous and the downstairs bathtub, a dream! The kitchen was well-stocked and very cozy! We stayed in April but I imagine the ambiance of winter really provides a great place to come together with family for celebration. Clifford was responsive, gracious and a very friendly host. His easy check in and privacy afforded to his guests allow you to feel and share in the magic of his truly beautiful and special home.

I took my dogs and girlfriend for a weekend away to this lovely little house in surry. It was a very pleasant experience. It was a nice quiet little small town area away from the city life. they had a penned in area in the back where my dogs I swear had a better trip than we did running around like crazy in the yard. Interior was nice and cozy as well. Well kept and tidy. It did rain most of the time we were there so we didn't get to make much use of the firepit and outdoor stuff. but hey maybe next time. Would recommend and would stay again. The host were also super helpful and repsonsive to my questions, which I personnaly appreicated.

Our family had a great visit! The house was clean, exactly as listed, and in a great location. The kids enjoyed the farmers market next door.

Great stay in a nice, gated community! The space was comfortable and clean. The only thing was the coffee maker was a little touch and go. Not a big deal. We will be back when we’re back in the area!

Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown are only 10 minutes away. The home provided a wonderful launching pad for exploring the area. It was comfortable and nicely decorated.

Very nice clean property, matched up very well with the description. Nice outside features including a fire pit, inside was very clean. Good location and access to Williamsburg. Ryan was very responsive and helpful!
