One of the most delightful places we have stayed. The space was designed so well it was like being at home but in a comfortable country setting. This is one place I would recommend without reserve.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything was exactly as described and we were here for an event but otherwise would have loved to be able to explore the grounds and attend an event at the winery next time. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Ken for the hospitality and for being flexible with us!

Had the best time ! Mother / daughter getaway. The cottage was adorable. Very comfortable. Nice area to visit. The cottage was convenient to Mt Airy and MT Pilot. Phil and Suzanne built a fire one night in the pavillion. The farm setting was very relaxing and peaceful. And Abby the dog was precious ! Will definitely be back.

We had a blast staying out in the mountains. The peace and quiet was exactly what we needed. The A-frame cabin was beautiful inside and out. We could not have chosen any where better to stay for a weekend.

A really amazing place that we enjoyed. It was as described and one of the best AirBnb's we've visited. We had a family of 7 (3 of them teenagers), and we had plenty of room with the loft spaces. Everything was picture perfect and well done. We would definitely stay again. Close to Elkin (good restaurants) and everything you might need, but very private and rural. At night, outside, I heard no noises of civilization, just peace and quiet. We walked down the hill and swam in the river, which was a little chilly but lots of fun. Visited Stone Mountain State Park and Pilot Mountain while we were there. I wish we could have stayed longer.

This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! The cabin was spotlessly clean — everything was shining. Firewood was neatly prepared for the fire pit, and the kitchen was fully stocked with absolutely everything we could possibly need. It’s clear that the house and everything inside it was made with heart — with care, attention, and love for the little things. We felt at home from the very first moment. This kind of warm and thoughtful hospitality is rare, even in the most expensive homes. We truly wish the hosts success and prosperity in their business — they absolutely deserve it. We’ll definitely be coming back! 10 out of 10.

This was the perfect spot for my husband and I with our 11 year old to recharge between a couple days of hiking. Absolutely perfect location and exactly what we needed space wise. That bathroom is phenomenal for the size of the place and we hope to stay again sometime!

Joy is a great host. The house is nothing fancy but a clean, cozy place to stay for a regular weekend or a long weekend.
