Karen is an amazing host, the place is very neat & peaceful and the view is stunning. We even had the chance to see monkeys and there were peaceful. It’s definitely a great place to stay in PE.

Claudia was so helpful and responsive. The accommodation was clean, homely and perfect for our needs. The location is perfect, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Highly recommend and will be back!

The Summer Blue Guest House is top notch place to stay. I would recommend it to everyone Rooms are spacious and clean And will accommodate and big group.

One day Elmarie will be able to take down the electric fence and the burglar bars. When that day comes, this will be a fabulous destination for any traveller. Until then... well, do your research and be prepared! In normal circumstances PE would be a very pretty town and Elmarie's house would be perfectly situated in one of the prettiest parts of it. As it is, if you're coming to Gqberha (PE) at all, well, you probably have an idea about how things are here. So, with sociopolitical caveats attached, none of which are within Elmarie's power to change, I recommend staying at Elmarie's! At least it's as safe as Fort Knox in the house, there's a lovely sun-lounger area and pool, and the views are stunning. Good luck South Africa, I hope things get better and the wait won't be too long.

We stayed with Karen for three nights with a total of 5 people and Karen and her husband Hein immediately made us feel at home. They were always proactive in asking if we were ok and even made dinner for me, my boyfriend and the kids. The apartment has everything you could want including towels, hair dryer, games and more. It was also totally clean. We would come back anytime, thank you so much for the stay!

I enjoyed the few days I spent. Cecil was a great host and super friendly and was flexible with the the check in and checkout times. The room was clean and spacious as well as the showers were very spacious and beautiful, I also felt safe and secure with adequate security. Would not mind staying over again.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Eugene and Illze’s place. The home was very comfortable, well-equipped, and perfectly located. It was easy to get around and explore the area. Eugene and Illze were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available when we needed anything. Their warm hospitality really made us feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend their place to anyone visiting the area.

My partner and I had an amazing stay at the Greenhouse! Definitely one of our best AirBnB experiences to date. George's unit is beautifully and tastefully decorated from the living room to the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom; he really has a great eye for aesthetics! Everything from the plates, to the furnishings, to the glasses was stylish and unique. The unit is very spacious and comfortably accommodated two people. We really loved the outdoor patio and we had several lovely outdoor dinners there!! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make delicious meals- including an air fryer! There are beautiful fruit trees planted in the front yard which add a lovely touch to the property. The neighbourhood is safe and close to shops and malls. George is a kind, friendly and extremely helpful and responsive host who helped us with everything that we needed! 10/10 would recommend- we were so sad to leave, but we will definitely be back!

We had a very good stay at this apartment. The furniture was clean, new, and tastefully chosen. Thoughtful extras were all included, like shower soaps, olive oil, coffee, milk, salt & Pepper, fresh kitchen towels & soap etc. were provided. The kitchen was well equipped, and the shower was great. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, giving us tips for restaurants and even providing us with a down comforter when we found the bed a bit too firm. We felt comfortable, safe, and at ease throughout our stay. We also appreciated being able to open all the windows and doors while still feeling secure. We‘ve honestly never had such a good value for the price.

Wir waren für vier Nächte in der wunderschönen Unterkunft von Lydia auf ihrer Farm. Das Zimmer ist sehr gemütlich und schick eingerichtet. auch für Familien ist es sehr gut geeignet, es gibt eine Verbindungstür zwischen beiden Suiten. Um unseren Aufenthalt komfortabel zu gestalten, haben wir sogar ein Babybett und Hochstuhl erhalten. Lydia zeigte uns alles und war immer erreichbar und freundlich. Wir konnten eigenständig über die Farm laufen und die Hühner und Pferde anschauen. Der Strand ist nicht weit entfernt und die Lage zur Nähe von Porto Elizabeth und Addo Elephant Park sind sehr gut. Vielen Dank für den wundervollen Aufenthalt.

The perfect spot to enjoy one of PE's best kept secrets. Judy and Vaughan were both very welcoming hosts. The rooms were neat, clean and very comfortable with amazing views of the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts over looking the estuary and the home cooked rusks. Judy is an amazing baker! We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I really enjoyed staying at Annali’s place. She was a very helpful and friendly host. Annali responded quickly to all my questions ahead of my stay. On arrival Annali met me at the gate and showed me to my room and gave some tips on the area (directions to Grey School where I was headed each day to watch a sports tournament, which was within walking distance). She also suggested nice places to eat out and how to get there. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable for a good night sleep. Tea, coffee and kettle in my room were also lovely and convenient. The area felt very safe and I enjoyed early morning walk/jog in the neighborhood and felt safe to return after dinner out at night.
