This place is outstanding - the location, cleanliness and easy to find. The host is just incredible. Whenever there is a minor issue she responds immediately and solves all the problems instantly. I would definitely recommend the place and the host. Will definitely return here in the future.

Pros: Great location with both metro and tram walking distance Apartment is clean Bed is very comfortable and neighborhood not noisy Host coordinated with a nearby hotel for luggage storage after checkout Cons: 1) if you’re hauling luggage with metro you’re going to have a really rough walk pulling luggage on steep cobblestone alleys no sidewalk, take a taxi. Once you get to the apartment the walks to anywhere are easy without luggage 2) checkout is 11 and check in 3pm. Host was a bit flexible and we checked in at 1:15pm, checked out 11:30am

Great place in cool neighborhood. Lots of coffee cafes, restaurants, shops,etc. and close to Taskim Square. Tram or walking to Galata, shopping or over to Asian side. Good size apartment. Plenty of grocery available and the street is quiet and quaint. Deniz and Derya were both very responsive hosts and great to work with. Would recommend

Die 85 Stufen des alten Hauses lohnen sich zu erklimmen, denn man wird mit einem fantastischen Blick und einer schönen Wohnung belohnt. Die Badezimmer sind winzig klein, dafür hat man aber zwei wunderbare Terrassen, einen großen Wohnbereich mit einer praktischen Küche und zwei schönen Schlafzimmern. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wenn man die Fenster geschlossen hält, bekommt man den Trubel, der bis spät in die Nacht hinein zu hören ist aus diesem netten, sehr zentrale gelegenen Stadtteil, nicht mehr mit. Für junge Leute die das Party Leben von Istanbul genießen wollen, eine traumhafte Unterkunft. Nur wenige Schritte vom Ufer des Bosporus entfernt, rund um überall Restaurants. Efkan ist sehr bemüht und jederzeit ansprechbar und reagiert sehr schnell auf alle Fragen. Er ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Sogar die Heizung hat er uns angemacht, weil es an den Tagen recht frisch war, an denen wir da waren. Efkan und seine Wohnung sind zu empfehlen.

This is a very central location with a view of Galata Tower. Metro is close by, easy access to shopping, harbour, and local culture. Small market nearby. An old building so no elevator, and stay is on the 5th floor. Apartment was spacious and has many amenities. We really enjoyed this stay.

Best of the best place to stay in Istanbul

The place definitely served the original purpose. It was very central to our needs, within walking to many attractions and steps to the Metro station. Edis was very nice, and hospitable, I have allergies and he had the place aired properly. I am grateful for that. He also checked a day later to see how we settled. Very happy with everything and when we come again I will definitely consider this apartment, thanks Edis

Burası harika deniz manzarası olan bir daire. Koltuğa yaslanıp manzaranın tadını çıkarabilirsiniz. Ev temizlik bakımından gayet iyi, hiçbir problem yaşamadık. Havlu, peçete deterjan vb. aklınıza gelebilecek her şey fazlasıyla mevcut. Ev konusunda kesinlikle tekrar geleceğimiz bir deneyim yaşadık. Evle alakalı her şey harika olduğu için geleceklere tavsiyeler vermek istiyorum. Öncelikle biz araçsız geldik ve ev kabataş vapur istasyonuna çok yakın, buradan kadıköy, adalar vb. konumlara rahatlıkla ulaşabilirsiniz.Eğer Galata civarına gidecekseniz mimarsinan metro durağı eve 10 dk mesafede yer alıyor. Tao’s home is a charming entire house with a private entrance, nestled in a vibrant neighborhood. If you're a fan of Orhan Pamuk's novels, you'll recognize the area, and you'll be pleased to know that the Museum of Innocence actually exists and is located nearby. The house itself is full of character and unique details. The kitchen is well-equipped and had everything we needed traveling with a young child. There are three floors to navigate: the kitchen, dining area, and a shower are located on the ground floor, while the entrance, two bedrooms and a toilet are on the first floor. The second floor features the third bedroom with its own small kitchenette and bathroom. Additionally, the entrance has a few steps as well. Tao is a very sweet, friendly and thoughtful host, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our visit. Communication was seamless, and he provided us with excellent recommendations for local restaurants that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Room very neat, 2 big bed 1 single bed , location very near to Galata, karakoy, Taksim. Host is very friendly behaviour . Only challenge we face toilet water pressure .. (manageable)..me and my family had a wonderful stay…. Host is very caring and quick response .. you will not get disappointed ..

Das Viertel ist alt und unsicher, oft sitzen Betrunkene am Eingang. Für Familien ungeeignet, aber vielleicht okay für Singles. Die Wohnung war sauber, wir haben immer abgeschlossen. Mustafa ist nett und gastfreundlich, aber die Lage ist schlecht.

I rented a house for two weeks. It is the center of Balat - around many delicious restaurants and small shops. Seyda and her family are very helpful. They helped me with everything. I had a problem with the nanny, and Sayda helped me solve it. They also make transfers to the airport. Communication with the host was as comfortable as possible: any shortcomings were corrected within a couple of hours. I am very satisfied.

Well located , clean and quiet. The perfect match to discover this area walking up and coming down. The Hamman , sauna and the pool are a big plus for rainy days.

Erhan has been a great host and provided easy and straightforward instructions and advice. Was very responsive to our questions and requests too. Would definitely recommend his place to anyone who wants to stay in a homely environment instead of a hotel.

By far the best host I've had on Airbnb! Super attentive, always available, and incredibly quick to respond. The flat is fantastic—very comfortable, with everything we needed for a great stay. One small suggestion: it would be helpful to provide essentials like oil, salt, toilet paper, and sugar—basic items most guests typically need. We had to purchase these on the first day, but it wasn’t a big issue and didn’t affect our overall experience. The neighborhood is excellent, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, gyms, and more to explore. If you choose this flat, you won’t regret it! I’d absolutely stay here again.

Our stay in Istanbul was made even better thanks to this amazing apartment ! The 3-bedroom apartment was spacious, spotless, and had a great mix of modern comfort and local charm. Each room was well-furnished and cozy, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The location was ideal—close to public transportation, great cafes, and some of the main attractions, but still in a quiet neighborhood that let us wind down peacefully at night. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, and making sure we had everything we needed. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Istanbul—especially families or groups looking for comfort, space, and a great location. We’d love to stay here again on our next trip!

The apartment is very well located and close to all the main attractions by public transport. Suay was very accommodating qnd helpful during our stay. I ll definitely come back whenever i’m in Istanbul.

너무 편안하고 경치도 좋고 숙소도 좋아서 더 있고 싶었습니다! 하지만 일정때문에 더 머물지 못해 아쉽지만 나중에 근처 방문하게 되면 믿고 다시 예약할 수 있을 것 같습니다
