Very cute little getaway! Nice and clean and cozy. Hot tub was perfect. Beds were SO comfy. Awesome view looking over the lake at all the birds: eagles, swans, geese, woods ducks, cardinals, blue jays,etc. Thank you so much for a wonderful, relaxing stay in the Spring!

Our stay at the Wizard's Cottage was FABULOUS! Three of the most peaceful, relaxing days I've had in years. Our trip was intentionally a stay-cation so I can't speak to the surrounding area, but there was so much to enjoy just on the property. We spent the mornings lazing in the sun listening to the birds, days playing games and doing crafts, and evenings relaxing in the hot tub. My friends and I were so blown away by the care put into each small detail of the place, we spent a good while just taking it all in. There was a new treasure to find in every nook and cranny! If you're planning a visit -- which you ABSOLUTELY should -- here are a few tips: - When you arrive, read through Jill and Joan's history book about the place! It added an extra layer of magic to our stay - The water is a bit sulfuric, so bring some extra bottles - Don't hesitate to reach out to Jill and Joan, they are so kind and responsive! Thank you again for such a wonderful escape! I'd give 6 stars if I could :)

I really liked the place. It was an incredibly relaxing setting and it was so cool to wake up in and discover lotr references I missed the night before. They have a grill, and fire pit and we used the later. I will save this place for the future if I end up in that area again because it was that good

Had an “emergency” booking at the last minute and asked if it was possible to get access early. The hosts responded so quickly and were so accommodating to our request. The place was great with a nice “hangout” area and huge bedrooms. It’s a beautiful view and the hot tub is nice and warm and close to the house. Easy to find and nice and close to the cities but far enough to feel like a vacation!

We had an excellent stay! The home was even better than described and so peaceful. We are already talking about when we can return!

my boyfriend and i booked this cabin as a couple’s getaway to celebrate his birthday and it was perfect! the cabin itself was so cozy, but still very modern and sleek! however, the highlight of this property has to be the beautiful lake views and the hot tub! we spent a lot of time on the outdoor couch just relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere :) a couple things worth noting are the griddle was pretty dirty and covered in old solidified grease which was a bit disappointing since we had already bought food to cook on there and didn’t get to do that as planned, but this wasn’t a hugeee deal to us tho and wasn’t worth lowering the rating over. additionally, response time could be a little faster but i understand that it’s the weekend and people are busy! katie was very friendly otherwise and i’d definitely recommend her cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

We couldn’t love Brent’s place and will be back. We had five kids under the age of 5 and it was so well set up with coloring, kitchen items, kid spaces, toys, highchair we couldn’t believe it! Even things to make homemade popcorn with a whirled pop! We made it two nights. The couch and lounging for the adults was great! Hoping to be back soon for a girls trip or another family vacay!

We had an excellent time! Being right on the water is such a treat, even in winter. The hot tub and comfy beds were definitely highlights!

Very cozy cabin! The neighborhood felt very safe and clean. Even though there were neighbors nearby, the place felt very secluded and like you were in the middle of the woods! Beautiful location, lots to do nearby, but also enough to do at/around the cabin itself! Definitely would stay here again!

Definitely recommend if you want to be close to everything but be in seclusion all at the same time. And when they said they have a kitchen ready for you, they really mean it. Great communication and hospitality.

We stayed here for a total of 34 days after a devastating house fire. The space was beautiful. We often caught ourselves calling it “home” and it felt just like that. So cozy and welcoming. We were able to rest and relax for a while after living out of hotels. Nothing beats being able to have a nice home-cooked meal after weeks of fast food. Ami was an exceptional host. Anytime there was a repair needed or someone coming out to look at something, she communicated immediately. She offered us to extend our booking to accommodate our unique situation. All in all, an EXCELLENT place to stay and well worth the money.

We only live about 10 miles from this cabin, so Diane graciously allowed my husband and me to tour the property before deciding to rent it. We didn't stay in it ourselves, but rented it for our 2 daughters and their families to stay in, over Thanksgiving weekend. It worked out quite nicely. The kids said that it was a great place to stay and talked about possibly staying there again in the future.

It was really nice and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely rebook next time we’re in town.

We had a cozy and peaceful stay near family for a NYE visit. Loved watching ice fishing on the lake and flurries blowing through the trees. The flip-switch fireplace is instant hygge.

Tyler was a great host and very responsive to any questions. Our group of 13 found the layout and space to be excellent for our annual get together. It was relaxing, kitchen is well equipped, comfortable beds and the amazing view. We highly recommend a stay at the Lodge.

We loved this cottage and being close to the peaceful lake. It was so well made and great design. Every space was comfortable and well thought out. Comfy beds. Beautiful views of the lake out all the windows and lovely sunsets. We grabbed meats from the butcher in town and grilled and also ate in town one evening. This one's a winner!

loved it. stayed since i was working in the area and it was spectacular. very clean and quiet. there were deer, turkeys, ducks, Robins, kingfisher, owls, you name it outside. was nice to sit at the waters edge. Will be back if work brings me here again!

Our stay was for a weekend over MEA. It was just what we needed to get away from the normal busy jobs and school. My girls loved the screened in porch where we could take in the fall air yet be warm and “no bugs!” per my 7 year old. Everyone loved the sauna too. It’s a very nice place and it was very clean. We’d definitely stay here again. Thanks again!

This place was a lovely retreat from regular life. The house was comfortable and pleasantly decorated, and the setting was beautiful. Sitting on the dock watching the sun rise over the lake with a cup of coffee got my days off to a great start. There were several excellent options for private work space, and a TV in every bedroom (with a bonus TV in the main living space). The kitchen was comfortable, and the recreational equipment was all in good working order. It was chilly while we were there in early October, but we were able to use the provided kayaks and enjoyed ourselves on a sunny afternoon. 10 of 10, would recommend and stay again!

We had an issue with the heat and Mark came right over to take care of it. We certainly enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxing.

Loved the cottage. Perfect for a weekend away with friends!
